Who Are You Becoming?

No matter our age or where we are on our spiritual paths, we are all becoming.  Here at Becoming More Beautiful, we are pursuing Jesus to become like Him. Our hearts are to mirror 2 Corinthians 3:18:

Hello!  I'm Debbie.  Thanks for stopping by.  Here are some things to know about me:

I enjoy reading and watching home designing shows.  My signature things are cabbage pink roses, vintage rhinestone jewelry, and pink matte lipstick.

I am a Christ-follower and a speaker, teacher, mentor and certified Christian life coach. I am passionate about inviting women into conversations that set the stage for their own becoming.

God has opened doors for me to the most amazing ministry opportunities—serving as a Deaconess, facilitating a weekly bible study for a Fortune 500 organization, directing a ministry for girls ages 5 to 25, teaching a young adult Sunday School class earning the nomination for the Henrietta Mears Sunday School Teacher of the Year Award, and serving as Chaplain for the Women’s National Basketball Association’s Washington Mystics.

One of my most unforgettable experiences was writing and directing, Bride Ready, an inspiring play that had the audience crowding the altar desperate to be renewed and to be ready for the return of Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom.

I absolutely love helping women on their becoming journey whether they are single or married. God gave me a heart for singles over 45 years ago when I started teaching a singles bible study before singles ministries existed.

As a prior director of a discipleship ministry for parents and girls, I value helping teen girls recognize their worth, potential, and move toward a deeper relationship with Jesus.

I am a widow with a young adult daughter, and I immensely am enjoying being a new grandmother.

“Sister Milton truly loves the Lord and sincerely desires for the people of God to know the Lord and walk in His Ways.  That desire, along with the spirit of integrity, is advantageous for true ministry."

"During Debbie’s service, our Singles Ministry grew tremendously.  It was diverse in age, sex, and spiritual walk which were a first in the history of our ministry.  Christian singles would come from other churches to experience Debbie’s phenomenal bible studies and workshops."
